By accessing or using Allied Health Alliance ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Allied Health Alliance is a professional community platform for allied health professionals (Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and related professionals) to share research, present at virtual symposiums, and network with peers.
To access member features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree not to:
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of all content you post, including research papers, posts, comments, and profile information. By posting content on the Platform, you grant Allied Health Alliance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform.
You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
Research papers uploaded to the Platform are shared at the discretion of the author.Allied Health Alliance does not claim ownership of uploaded research. Authors are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share their work (e.g., that it is not under exclusive license to a publisher).
Symposium presentations are conducted via live video. By presenting, you consent to your presentation being viewed by registered attendees in real time. Recordings, if made available, will be accessible to members on the Platform.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines. Users may report content for review. We use automated filtering and manual review to maintain community standards.
Allied Health Alliance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in user-generated content. The Platform is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You may permanently delete your account at any time from Security Settings. Deleting your account will remove:
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the App Store or Stripe to stop billing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but provisions regarding content ownership, liability, and dispute resolution survive.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
